the one way plug is between the fuse and radio (fuse is in main lead)
as kevin showed the power lead was defective as it had been wired incorrect at factory
however in kevins haste in setting up a lot of problems would of been solved if he checked the colors on the lead..however it is...
i was thinking you had a swr issue burning up the combiners ..
a loose so239 would do that ...
was that the antenna socket or the radio input socket?
look at the combiner/spliter (L3 AND L4) and the 10 ohm resistors on each pill ..(R18/19 and R25/26)
also the switching transistor (Q2) and its...

rf power controls were made for reasons...

the audio will be dx sharp ..a little too sharp maybe for locals while "rag chewing "
hi
first of all using a dynamic mic (NC or not) on a radio designed for ecm mics will sound quieter than the stock mic and has certain issues as below
next i believe the rk56 has a 6 core cable standard http://www.eham.net/reviews/detail/8407 ..considering the optima mic only uses 5 wires (4...
why? ..unlike most he is a private man that lets the product speak for its self ..as far as i know he rarely posts here or anywhere for that fact ...yes i know him quite well i was chatting to him today ..and yes i have one
he makes NO claims as in performance... he never has and i also know...
