    The Sirio is not the same design as the A/P. Sirio top one has a gamma match. The Ap you have to look at carefully to see. I still don't understand how it works lol. I do however have both of these antennas :)

    Why use cables ? Unless you are guying a big ass tower. If it's just for a mast you can use steel guy wire or dacron rope . Just a thought . :)

    Needle Bender , you have your feed point at 41 feet ? Are you using a push up mast or tower? Just curious as I have 3 ,, 10 foot masts telescoped 8" which gives me 27'. I'd like to try going higher .

    I've used my ft 50 on my vertical dual band UVS 300. Works well . I think your rig is a vhf uhf triband. I'm not sure about it having HF capabilities ?
