Just my 2 cents, I use my Imax 2000 with 9 foot groundplanes for cb. And On the same mast just below I use a Shorty 80-40m dipole in an inverted V for HF with a tuner. Works well for me. :)

I'm having a similar problem in my area as well. What channels are you picking it up on ? Mine are between ch. 1,2,3. I'm getting about 7- 9 s units. To me , the noise coming through my radio sounds like an engine running at a high rpm.

Duct Tape of course lol..... Na, For now I just bought a "D clip" from the music store and clamped it on the side. It is a drum rim clip

Hi Guys, I have a Magnum Omega Force S45hp and it doesn't matter which mic I use, or whether its the 6 pin socket or the 4 pin, I get a very loud Pop when I key and un-key. Any recommendations would be great, thanks for your time :)

Great Thread Guys!! Back in the 70's I remember hearing side banders on my "Coleco CB 40 " lol even though we could not understand them hihi. Yes I will tune in as well! I will start to listen more on 16 LSB for sure
