We had some really good condx here in Central Kentucky as well. Had stations from places I usually dont get to hear, New York, Boston, Toronto, Quebec Canada, Northern Ontario ... maryland.. Good day to be on the radio for sure!

Dont cut it.. 'cutting' things only makes your radio swing more on the meter...in reality...its not helping how it sounds. Too much modulation is Not a Good thing. Uniden didnt put 'extra' parts in there to hinder its performance - I'm sure somebody will be along to help ya with the RIGHT...

You dont need to do the chipswitch to get the CB Channels. I have three 2510s (pretty much the same thing) and two of em come from doc, one is chipswitched - he really knwos his Stuff! Ive had mine for 4 years now, no issues with the display - the light did go out, so I put in a blue one...

While its not a pro level job.. I still give it two thumbs up..
