Up for a vote in May, Part 95 is changing to allow FRS radios to have 22 channels and 2 watt power output. GMRS licensing remains, with repeaters remaining. CB radio rules changed to remove the distance restriction.

I was on a recent vacation and had a CB on. For an 800 mile drive, I heard TWO people on channel 19..... The drivers are sick of all the trash on the band.... both bad behavior and the skip crap that makes local comms impossible. Maybe with the solar cycle declining, you'll see more use as it...
My Megawatt is about 4 years old. It has never given me a single problem. Voltage is constant and maintains stability under all operating conditions. Clean and no HF noise.
which of course, means every CB radio operator will jump all over themselves to get one.
They need to generate as much bleedover as possible. J'in Fer Good Buddy :)
Actually, I hear bleedover on a daily basis.
Well, most illegal CBers with their "inbred bleedover generators" do this. I'd say 99% of those idiots making "inbred long distance calls" bleed over at least one channel.

Exceeding 100% is a mathematical impossibility. Once you reach 100%, you have reached the limit of the channel's capability to handle more information. Any amount over 100% spills over into the adjacent channels, causing bleedover.
You cannot bend physical laws.
Yes. I ordered one. Have to wait on it though. Supposed to have better ICs in it.

One other thing to add... If this was a "review" there would be some performance "reviews" also. What is good, bad, versus the regular old uv5r and its million other clones that would make us want to buy one?
