Had a coil antenna come to me same way, is exactly what I did, should be fine.. Glad you got it, chances are thats exactly what would have been done if you sent it back...:thumbup1:

If it were mine I'd just give the coil a careful twist, straighten it right out...

You should probably take a look at Mouser.com Digikey.com for them, probably save a bit of money, there are other places as well, I usually use one of these though...

The Fatboy I have here used the smaller tranformer, no idea how it worked, picked it up as a project (DOA) and haven't gotten around to it yet.... It looks pretty much like the one Booty posted, except of course it had 2879 transistors in it, they all look pretty damn close to the same...
