    Meter adjustment

If you purchased it as new, I would ask for a replacement. Once those little meters start acting up its the easiest thing to do.. Only thing I would do other then replace is make sure the meter needle itself is not bent and contacting the frame. Other than that I wouldn't bother it probably...

    cobra 29 st lights?

Unless it is different then the one I had it has no bulbs or LED lights, it uses EL (Electroluminescent) lighting. Kind of a thin strip sandwiched between layers on the faceplate... The one I had quit working a few months after the fellow I gave it to installed it. I haven't messed with...

    Radio shack swr/power meter?

An interesting point, I Buy a bit of vintage gear, when I buy a vintage meter it is almost always in need of repair, and typically pretty inaccurate.. Unless, it has the Radio Shack name on it, 9 out of 10 times, if it hasn't been beaten to death the old Rat Shack meter typically works as new...

    Yota's Amps

Isn't it sort of like that age old adage, calling the kettle black? Just figure someone that looks like that doesn't have much wiggle room.

Dual MR Coily Enforcer Comp Setup

And given the right conditions a 6 inch Rubber Ducky antenna can do the same thing, doesn't mean its a good working efficient antenna system. I'm guessing this is your first Solar Cycle...

doing the Schottky diode swap on a grant xl

Four that I'm aware of, Grant, Grant XL Early/Late, and the LT.. They are all close enough once you get familiar with them. Probably should have used the 148 book but this was handy and for D1,2,21,22 happens to be close enough to easily find them...

Gray 300 ... Any opinion about this amp?

We went through quite a few amps, Started out we ordered a couple cases of the Gray amps, quality was a bit spotty, and we ended up with more then a few DOA. After that, even though the price was attractive I stuck with Messenger, Texas Star, Or TNT almost exclusively.

Gray 300 ... Any opinion about this amp?

Mid to late 80's amp, worked ok, but was nothing to write home about, were better choices for the same money so I never bothered with them. Always considered the Gray Near Bottom Shelf material.
