I am guessing that for the RC1 2970N3 that it may be the same color wires as the N4 but in any case the same two wires shown. I would like to add this feature to my RCI2970N3
I build my own cooling fan stand including a temperature controller that turns on the fan at a desired temperature setting. The fan is a 200mm fan and moves a buch of air very quietly. Controller and fan I bought on amazon. The 1/2 pvc sheets I made the stand out of I already had. Total cost $33
If you are someone else owns a RCI-2970N3, have you checked to see the amps it pulls on SSB or AM maximum RF out. I have both a 75 amp power supply and am about to finish a 100 amp power supply and was wondering amps required. Oh yes what do must run your volts at. Thanks
I have a Powermax 100 amp and plan on using it with my RCI2970N3. Still looking for the best voltage to set it on for safe use either the radio. This is like a mystery it seems. I have it set to fixed output not charging. I think I eould rather the fan run all the time than just come on when it...
Thank you that was my other question is what is the best safest voltage to set for the radio, RCI2970N3. You would think everyone including the company you bought it from.
I have a powermax 100 amp and want to know what voltage I should set it for and should I buy a big battery to run with it or can I use it by itself directly with the radio. The radio is a RCI2970N3 which is 300+ watts so I guess about the same as a 4 pill amp.
A side question: not sure sbout pills inside but I am getting a RCI2970N3 soon and after properly being peaked it is supposed to do over 300 watts. Anyone know what size power supply I will need for this radio.
Side question, what amperage power supply will work for a RCI2970N3 peaked and tuned. I have a 50 amp but was told this will not be high enough amperage. Also a recommendation on a model# thanks Craig
Also I think it is crazy that the manual does not give any detail on the menu items and their adjustments or operation. MENU #17 is RX noise reduction and MENU#18 is TX noise reductions. There are a few more, #16 I think is a type of microphone noise gate. Well I use the MENU# 17 and it works...
I have seen over the years many radios can be "peaked" and done in a non harmful way that would not be considered "golden screwdriver" method. Most radios it is good to adjust the AM carrier for lower dead key and swing when modulated. Is this adjustable safely? Also are there any adjustments...
OK call me stupid but I have the newer AT-5555N version 2 and I see a Noise Blanker but I do not see anything in the manual or the radio for noise reduction or setting "3" some help please, thanks WWS5081 and 2IS1128, Craig
