When signals bounce the polariztion flips, therefor it can seem like it's circular. Using horizontal polarized antenna will have less noise because most manmade noise is vertically polarized.
I sent it, there is a PY file that you need to load in Chirp after you do the FW upgrade. Just turn on developer mode on Chirp and the go file, load module. Reach out if you have questions.

Airband RX is poor at best, you must update the firmware to even get it to the poor level. The AGC on AM is all messed up, it overloads easily. I live about a mile and half from a major airport and I can barely copy the tower and ground coms. I have several other Chinese HTs that recieved the...
Never had an issue with anything I bought from them, it all just worked. Sorry to see them go, there has been a rash of older established companies closing lately.
