My father and I both run a 450, zero issues, I use mine with my 12 yr laptop and HRD, stock mic has great audio, no complaints whatsoever. Haven't run the 7200 so you'll have to refer to the experts on that one.

I have this one running my FT-450, have had zero issues with noise, I picked up two more for other uses(including running 20amps of landscape lighting, and have help up for several months so far, with zero issues) anyway..30amp for $23 shipped hmm.wont let me paste from amazon?
