Something was wrong with the board and a technician did that modification to the board to make it work. It only lasted a few days. Indeed, I think is one of those relays. For me, the relays’ plastic cover look overheated. The technician told it was probably an electrical discharge or over voltage

Hi. I am looking for a good Icom 7410 CTRL board. It controls both antenna inputs and the AT. See the picture. It says B- 7158G CTRL. Maybe another Icom HF transceiver use it but I haven’t had luck finding one. Thanks in advance for the help you may provide.

No mobile cb antenna is more than a 1/4 wave. Those who say they sell 5/8 wave cb mobile are lying.

Sirio forgot the most important upgrade on these antennas, more power handling. Actually they are rated at 500w. Would have been nice if it could handle at least 1,000 watts.

No you can’t. If you want to cover 40 to 10 meters with such an antenna, better use an external antenna tuner. If not, better buy or fabricate an antenna to cover those frequencies.

Do I need to isolate an A99 if I install it on top of a 3 element Mosley TA-33 Yagi antenna ? A99 will be around 4-5 feet above the yagi .

If you have 2, you can have the rig soldered and have the stinger you want. Solder close to the tip, not the bottom. I did it once and worked fine.

Sorry, I didn’t know that stinger was so long. Maybe you can go to a place where aluminum and stainless steel rods are sold. They may sell you the length you are looking for, but they are not tappered.

Never mind. I found out. According with Google Maps, they are in the UK. They must be a US Sirio distributor somewhere, if not, go fo an universal stinger. Use a caliper to measure stinger diameter and go to flea bay .

Where is this people located ? The charged me $ 166 for a single stinger. Incredible.
