all quiet last few days here

yesterday it rained. i managed to talk to bruce 606 in ny. we had eachother at a solid 20 and for a good 15 minutes.then a few from down under came in. was decent radioing day. but after 4 pm was lousy conditions

i was called to work and only radioing i got in was when id drive my pickup to next farm n that was about 4 farms x 5 minute drives

maybe 1 of these days we can hook up again jeff,last time was when it was before the solar blast like what year n half ago?

27.850 lsb volcano in the service truck in the northwest was on,we chatted as we have last week or so about 7 pm cst.

tested a radio.i was bone stock and got a 707 in boston on 37 lsb then on 21 am got nice report from a guy who never gave name but was 200 miles away. 5 watts on am

last nite up in upper range 27.850 lsb many contacs from b.c.canada and few from northern cali.

we finally got rain,last time to measure was july and 3 tenths. started saturday nite n been storming almost non stop lightning bad so radios are turned off as i wait for clear days to radio again

yesterday mornin on my way to hospital to see dr at 6 am,2 guys were on 19 trucking talking on 2 of the best sounding mobiles ive heard. couldnt get to em but 48 miles of them crystal clear.

yesterday about 9 am while truckin i was scanning the waves. was on 40lsb n heard a very strong 855 utah mobile cq. i replied operator bob mobile also. and it was a good 10 mile 10 minute chat on a missouri backroad. then i was back at the bins. had to work on farm with no radio. but i was happy

hurricane 55 north cali was booming.we chatted a good 10 minutes 27.485 lsb
