    I did the mod with the 220uf cap and 100ohm resister and it appears to work, but the modulation is not loud. It's not as loud as the stock setup, even when I yell or whistle into the mic. Do I need to adjust something else? I saw a thread here that mentioned the VR-5. Is that something that...
