An interesting side to the open connection on my amp. That connection hooks ground to the SSB circuit and also to the driver transistor. With a poor solder the amp wasn't putting out full power. 750W on HI before. Now 850-900. Really brought the amp to life J.J. 399

I would definitely recommend installing a strain relief. Or at least something to protect the wire's insulation from the sharp edges of the cabinet.

I have also purchased many (similar) PCB relays, but never through Ebay. I use Amazon, because if there are problems, they refund or replace, no questions asked. I buy 50 at a time and haven't had a failure yet. Only problem I had was that one brand wouldn't fit in the standard perf board hole...
