    I can add pictures later today, but for now I'll try to describe it. It is a 4ft Wilson FGT Silver load antenna. The wire on the side looks like the one on the left: It looks to be a 12-14 gauge wire, and that is the one I grounded.

    So I finally got around to tuning my CB set up and couldn't get a decent SWR. I was wondering if I even have it set up right. What is the wire that comes out of the bottom side? I grounded it, but now I'm thinking that I shouldn't have. -Thanks
