Cobra 29 ltd classic not transmit

I'm sure this has been brought up before but I can't seem to find an answer, I am trying to learn how to work on CBs, I have a stock cobra 29 ltd, I was going to try to align it but in the process I lost output on TX, the tx light changes to red when the mic is keyed but that's it, I have a Dosy...
