10 meter is very quiet?

Not so great yesterday. Puerto Rico, Mexico. Western USA later in afternoon started coming in.

And then...some whacko on 28.425 constantly started chanting " China China...China China China...Buy China China China China...China Love China China China etc.,etc.

??? I have no idea what you're talking about, sure your on 10 meters? Unless your talking about TODD the Lid ? I am close enough to him distance wise I never hear him.
The short conditions come in I use my VFO:ROFLMAO::cool:

wish i spoke spanish,might be interesting.

This is reasoning the band took a dive!
Still open to S. America off/on...I worked an HP9 (Panama) station though...just because had not heard one here in a spell :cool:

ive been noticing that lots lately, just like blitzertung,hit n miss lightning detctor. showed extreme strikes in my area this morning at 7 am. at 7 am skys were pretty much cleared up.hour later rain no strikes but didnt go look at blitzertung
 
Italy and Spain x2 yesterday. Heard 2 stations in Argentina but my puny 100w couldn't get thru the hash. Also heard South Africa coming out of the grayline but couldn't make that either. Next time.
