11 meter is very quiet?

I went out to the garage and powered up my beat up 139xlr to see if the antenna it's hooked up to could here any DX...Sadly no... :( On the bright side, I thought I'd straighten up a particular messy corner and uncovered my old Astro Plane!! It needs to be cleaned up, and this cool weather is just right to be outside :)

Wow! The last time I had one was in 1975.

I think I heard the same guy. 3AT147 was that his call sign?? He was hard to understand...lol
Yes I believe its the same guy. I was trying to write his number down while trying to think of the types of things he would be telling me but I think most of what he was saying was not english. haha The conditions were spotty and I don't know how to QSL and then the conditions dropped out. I need to listen to more international QSOs to get a better fell of how the exchange goes. I am going to print out the DX map and am looking forward to better conditions.

I was stumped the first time someone asked for my “working conditions”..

After the first few it becomes rather straightforward...signal report, operator name, equipment, city, weather.
