DX going great in my part of NC today!

I was able to connect with ex-forum member (?) Redbeard U812 “WDX-1030 John” in South Texas this afternoon.

I called out on 38 LSB with “WDX-556 North Carolina standing by” and I heard Immediately “ Hey Ralph this is John Redbeard U812 South Texas”.

Made the connection on 38 LSB and QSY’d to 33 LSB. Nice conversation.

He made no mention of the forum nor did I.

Good ,deal I was wondering about him. Hopefully he'll be back around here someday.

Well the skip is really good here but it’s hard to hear it all and even harder to attempt to make contact. Why, well...some muffled, turd coated mic yelling 47 tango charlie.
