11 meter is very quiet?

Beam update.....
I am just tickled pink. I hooked my analyzer up to "Locomotive Breath" this morning. Without even adjusting the antenna gamma... this is the SWR after the build. I couldn't believe it!!!! I know the SWR will come down even more once I mount it up top my 20 foot tower. I hooked some coax to it and ran my 6 watt Cobra 29 LTD Classic into to it. I heard Michigan out there and called for him. He came back saying I was doing a solid 10s units to him. I couldn't believe it. I spoke with him for about 20 minutes without fading out. All I could think of was how this thing was going to work when I put some power into it. I didn't want to try running any power into it yet because of all the ground reflection....but once it is up 20 feet.....Trainman will be dropping the maul.

Oh boy...it was popping this afternoon around 12pm. Sounded like a pet store!! Bunch of different people from Oregon to San Diego to the mid west. The most I have ever heard.
Skip in tonight. Picking up 831 Arkansas in SW PA like he's next door. 37 LSB

Its rocking back here in ky from out west made several contacts 38lsb running my 100% old school plate modulated stationol
27.5550 was coming in good today from France and South America, made contacts with few North Eastern states on 38lsb

if you were on I fawty faur about the reeds mo 37 hiway exit you were about 16 miles from my home.but i was on mo 97 went south n back up crossed I fawty faur at stotts city exit
