He was booming in SoCal!! Guess he didn’t fall for the okie doke cause the 955 was clear and on frequency!

I was on there and made a couple contacts right about that time. Texas is booming in there today so was hard breaking through the pileup. I'm just waiting for the day I have a conversation with one of you gents.

I see from your profile that you are in Nebraska. I made a rough contact yesterday with somebody north of Omaha around 6-7pm I don't remember the numbers though. I was around Odessa,TX at the time.
I go by 553, finally back home here in San Antonio for a day or two.
Made a few contacts on 38 LSB yesterday, with that said, WTF is going on with 28? It sounded like the super bowl had moved up there, loud, over modulated, distorted, radios and annoying jibber jabber with nonstop trash talking.
Coleman you and I have made contact several times. On 38 you will hear me go be Kilo Yankee 100. You usually are sounding great.

Yep thats me lol I am an old radio junkie and like the big base stations. Hopefully some conditions will be in today and we can work some DX.
Maybe at one point, but for years now it's been a nice, enjoyable channel for DXing. People would make contact and reply to contacts, not sit there keyed up talking endless and irrelevant crap. If it's the "Baby Bowl" I hope 90% of them choke to death on their Cheerios or stick a butter knife in an outlet while they're taking a bath.....
Seems like any channel is the super bowl now days when skip is rolling. And like you said, over modulated, poorly tuned splatter boxes with lots of power, and trash talk. It's almost like a new language, I call it cb rap. Guess those guys don't know or care that an amp is just a brick. Having 2000 watts won't make a radio sound better.
