Yep just made contact with 702 also on 38 lsb. He doesn't say much, confirms he heard you, then moves on to the next person.
702 has been on every night this week,would be nice to hear the States coming back in when I don't know? Very strange conditions.
Had Florida booming in on RX About 1:30PST Caught some Georgia and South Carilina on 27.385.. Did make a quick QSO with Brazil.. 27.400 about 2:45PST.... DX fell out around 3:30PST...

Finally!!! I made my first contact across the pond this morning to 1505 Mark in Yorkshire,England on 36lsb.
I made a couple of contacts to Boston before that on 38lsb.
My longest contact so far was from San Antonio to Victoria,Australia, about 8800 miles. That was last weekend.

Yesterday was weird. Heard 702 Jamaica coming strong then he was gone. Dead the rest of the day.
Heard Ontario, Canada coming in here to the southwest during the Friday afternoon commute. Couldn't work 'em. Worked Michigan late morning today (Saturday 11:30am Mountain) with the barefoot Uniden 980SSB. Band openings several times a day 5 to 10 minutes at a time.

It was blown open this morning many contacts on my way to the lake.
Then about 11 or so I talked to Larry, WR178, DX Man.
I called for 30 min on 28.400 with nothing heard, back to 27.385 and my radio was full of dx.

MMM blasting in hear on the connecticut coast. 2 foot firestik mobile.
Washington, Oregon, British Columbia, Idaho, Montana, South Dakota, Arizona, New Mexico, North Carolina, and more, there was a pile up on SSB a mile high.
Don't know if it will last into the evening but it might be good for grey-line tonite.

I'm selling my 2nd (commuter) vehicle and so had pulled out my amp and took off my big antenna and was running barefoot today with a President McKinely and a President New York/Virgina antenna and made a nice contact with 1117 TN today 
Wasn't expecting to be able to make a contact with the mini antenna but conditions were better than I thought. 2000 miles with 12 watts and a 20" antenna lol. Antenna wasn't even placed center roof.

Crazy thing is just a few minutes after talking to Europe i was talking to Oregon and washington states from my little radio here in South Carolina!
