With an extremely full belly and enough socializing to last another year.... I had to make a retreat to the shack at about 2100 CT and was able to make a few contacts to Missouri and Iowa. Not bad for not the best conditions.

Spending time with family so I wasn’t on. I did turn it on at 10:00 pm and listened. Nothing but static. A few minutes later, from out of no where 608 Wisconsin came in and we had a nice qso for a few minutes before he faded out. Then it was back to static. Hopefully conditions tomorrow will be good.

Made lots of contacts this morning on 37 and 39 lsb.
Florida, North Carolina, Kentucky, California to name a few. Conditions were steadily moving around, but pretty decent.
Lunch break now and if I have time, I'll try again later.

Made my first DX Dallas TX contact on 37LSB on my New McKinley radio that I set up last Night. Woo Hoo it is always good when your new radio is a success !!!
Europe has been open every morning for the past 4 days here in KY. Big signals coming in. From about 0800 to 1200 est here. Made about 150 contacts in that time frame. Working on 27.555 and then moving. Hope it continues for a while.

Made my first ever Colorado contact this morning on 39lsb on my new McKinley so I guess I have to give it a clean bill of health. And now DX has died here, been noticing a slow down.
Just leave it alone and use it! Glad to see it worked out in the end.
19 Am skip is crazy today after an absence yesterday, hopefully conditions will still be OK this evening when the base powers up.
Looks like I'm catching the tail end of condition today but still able to work some dx. If anyone else is on I'll be on the top side.

Nice little skip to Vancouver and gulf island in Canada today on 37lsb.
Saturday and Sunday mornings European skip was outstanding on 11 meters here in Ky. Worked some countries I had not heard before on 11. Croatia Bosnia and Bulgaria. Was pretty stoked lol.

For the past week, my noise floor dropped from s5 to zero. I am pretty sure that it was coming from one of the local businesses, and now their junk apparently bit the dust. Not sure exactly what it was, but it was constant 24-7 every day year round. I am just happy that it's gone, knock on wood.
Been pretty good conditions here lately except for the 3 druggie stooges from Phoenix causing H & D all day on 38lsb.
