Made contact with WB1440, 585 NY, WB36 Vermont and 365 (forgot his state)
Also discovered a new channel, 27.420 LSB. it's quiet with so far, good and courteous operators. None of the mini Superbowl nonsense or jackwagons tying it up with their stupid recordings.

Several months ago I was listening to a fellow describe how to grow, when to pick the buds, how to dry them, a whole lesson on growing pot.
Conditions were excellent this afternoon. Made a contact from New Jersey to France in my mobile on 39 LSB.

And all these years I thought "High Frequency" had to do with Megahertz.
Took the McKinley and KL-203P for a ride and was able to reach out and touch Mississippi but heard a lot of skip. I'm thinking about doing that hole drill mod to my microphone but haven't taken it apart yet to see if President Radio did anything different.
Even with a low antler, still worked many stations this evening. Just had a nice qso with 357 in the west coast of Canada like he was down the street.
Trying to do all I can before the station gets dismantled in about a week.

The conditions have seemed to calm down a bit. I still have been able to make contacts to the east and west coast today from Texas. Even the knuckleheads on 38 seem to have taken the day off today!
I did hear a certain" technician" in the dirt today very briefly on 38LSB but he was getting squashed like a bug.
My favorite contact today was with 216 in the service truck around Reno, Nevada on his way to get a truck rolling again.

I didn't have much radio time today, but I should be on this weekend. Good to know the east and west coasts are still coming in. For me, it's usually the NW, NE, and Florida coming in strong.
