Very low level conditions coming in on 19. Very up and down. Have yet to scan the band at all. Just listening. Caring for my sick dog atm. But, hopefully a bit later things get better. Been days without much conditions at all.

11 meter is very quiet?

Yeah Dx was rolling a little today as I was working in the garage and traveling in my car running errands but too busy to make contacts.
Nothing nothing nothing today. Sure is different from a few months ago!!

Early last night (7 central time) had a 20 minute window. I made a few contacts.
No time for radio today, yesterday it was dismal.
I did talk to to Larry in Washington briefly but it was rough.
Very high atmospheric noise running s-5+ even up on the hill were it's usually quiet.

We sure got spoiled with DX last winter when DX was rolling everyday. And I thought this cycle was suppose to be on the rise! What-Happened !!!!
I have traveled many a mile this week. Lots of time to play radio, but not too many contacts. Maybe 10 all solid contacts all week long.
Last night I was woke up by thunderstorms around 11pm near Colorado City, Tx. The radio was a little busy
I made a good contact with radio Kentucky 105. I had tons of lightning interference though. Probably not the wisest thing to do. Haha.
Today I covered almost 500 miles and only had 3 contacts. Big-time bummer.

Yeah a bummer for sure.
For myself, the biggest let down is hearing them talk but being unable to get out of the mud to be heard.
Up here in the Northwest corner it has always slowed down during spring to summer. But then it picks up from fall thru winter. It has worked that way for at least
the last 2-3 cycles. However the last couple of weeks we have been getting late night DX between 9;00pm thru 12:00am fairly often but not a lot of people on at that time.

Yeah no doubt. My wife hears me complain about the lack of conditions. The other day out of frustration I said I was about to sell everything off, now she sees me calling cq and says "I thought you were done and selling everything".

It seems to pick up in the evenings here, sometimes. I am sure it will be rolling good this fall.
Patience is a necessity skill when chasing dx.
It's been difficult for a bit, lots of noise, poor dx conditions, it will settle down eventually.
This is the one of the things that got me to get my ticket years ago, it gave me more options for bands to play radio.
Just right for a dx junkie.
