I took the exams a little over a year and a half ago. In Colombia, the tests are different than in the US. 100 questions on rules, regs, and radio theory. AND . . . an additional 100 questions on Colombian history. All in Espanol. Somehow, I passed, and I keyed up on 10 meters. Everything went well until I mentioned that I was in Colombia S.A. Then the SH*T started. Asking if I moved here to do drugs; Are all Colombian women hookers ?; ect. I could handle that, but when they started making remarks about my Latina wife, I said, "FU", shut my Kenwood down, put it on the shelf, and haven't been back. There are assholes everywhere. It's just that every year there are more of them.
