How many zeros (Multiplier) from 1 picofarad (103 is 10,000pF the first two digits are the most significant of the value = in this case = 10 with 3 zeros behind it or 10,000pF)
After that, you're scoping RF, so you can NOT use a polarized capacitor - you can make it explode due to gassing as it tries to pass current from the tip into the monitor/tester
So non-polarized Disc...best way...one lead soldered to the probe tip and the other to the test center conductor or positive lead of the test cable - with shield being of course, ground.

Foy you to not understand the 103 Disc Cap and value - I just need to switch gears. But what you will find is not one cap out there now is going to show you or teach you how to translate it's value - you'll have to recognize it.

Note that some use the "P" designation - that means you can read it direct else - like the 223 is 0.022 uF in reference value from older days...
