Some north / south openings this afternoon on 15 meters, heard a lot of Mexico coming through. One station from Mexico City was booming in, but he signed off before I had a clear shot at him.
Spent some time turning the VFO on 20 meters, and not only was it open, it was a zoo.....:blink:....holiday weekend, and everybody was on chasing Dx.

Then I checked into the Maritime Mobile Service Net and got a request from net control in Miami (FL) to handle relay ops. I check into that net whenever I can, and that was the first time they asked me to do relay duty. Turns out the net control operator lived in the area before moving to Florida, he knew exactly where my QTH is in relation to the Atlantic Ocean, and figured I was in a good location to hit any Maritime stations out of his northern reach.....
