2 antennas on a p/u truck

Is there anybody that makes hitch mount or some kind of mount to run a antenna in the very back of the bed of a p/u truck?

I have one on the roof, I want another for that extra "umph"

no expert here but get a mount for the roof and mount it in the bed of the truck as you would on the roof for ant to be co phased proplerly then need to be at least 6 foot apart perferbally 8 foot and make sure the mounting harde ware on the bottom of the bed is galvanized steel or you coat it with some thing like under coating made by 3m hope this help .

I thought about that.. I also have the idea of having one of my buddies fabricate me a bracket to run across the back right before the tailgate.

What do you mean by "extra umph"? Mounting two antennas will only make your signal directional, at best. Is that what you're after?

Yes, I'm aware of it becoming directional. Doesn't it give you a better db gain over 1 antenna?
