For those wondering it is really SIMPLE
IT IS 25 POSTS needed to view the OPEN FORUM. SIMPLE
WHY?
Our theory, which may be wrong, is we dont want people signing up for a new name just to go in the open section to be anonymous. We do not want forum rambo's jumping in to start a fight just to cause a fight. If you have been a member here for awhile people know you by your user name so if you have something to say in there,,,,,
BE BRAVE!!! USE YOUR CURRENT USER NAME AND DO NOT HIDE BEHIND A NEW ONE, SIMPLE!
Why did some users get in with less than 25 posts?
Again SIMPLE
EZBOARD has several bugs and we know the user and know they have posted more than 25 so they get let in.
Can it be done a better way?
Sure we can allow only EZBOARD SUPPORTERS or COMMUNITY SUPPORTERS to view the Open Section. SIMPLE
IN CLOSING:
25 is the magic number, but its negotiable with a admin based on the circumstance.
