I moved recently so mine is packed up but if I come across it by the weekend I will take it out and give it a try. I have not used mine in about 4 years. I have to admit I only use the SWR function and then leave it in RF sensing mode I have never even tried the modulation function. Mine is a President Lincoln but I would imagine that the meter function logic would be the same across the family 2510,2600,Lincoln etc.....If I forget just remind me and I will dig it out and check it will not take long to do.


If it is accurate and responding to input I would not worry about it from a repair standpoint. I doubt that anything minor like a discrete resistor or diode would cause such a thing so it would more then likely be in an ic if it is in fact a malfunction.


Could contact Roger Bird he could more then likely tell you off the top of his head if this is normal or not!
