Since the sfi is up to 121 i brought my old siltronix 1011d out of retirement.I been on 28.420usb the last 3 days and had a blast.I even went to 29200am and made a few contacts,hope to hear you out there.I been on from 1600z till 0400z.I am in bad health so not on all the time,need to lay down for a while.Im on for a 1/2 hour then lay down for 1 hour...73s de n0zna/John em48sd

10 has been good for the last week or so in sw florida.
lots of western states, S. America, some europe, & Australia
 
Been too busy with work to turn on the radio the past three days...dangit. Keeping my fingers crossed for band openings over the weekend.

Yes I have made a handful of contacts on digital modes on 10, gld to see it open once again, and forgot about 10 am, will have to give it a try..

just worked 9J2GS 28.477, D2AM 28.490 and ZS6AJS 28.501
with 100 watts on fone.
 
Hi ZNA, I love to work AM on 10 and my 2995DX is an audio monster there. Will look for ya on 29.200. MO. may be a stretch (too short) but we do get Texas fairly regularly so you never can tell. I'm more likely to get the west coast here lately.

Maybe when 10m gets a little more reliable we can get a net going. Just a thought.

10 and 11 meters has been open pretty much everyday, late morning through sunset for quite a while. Mostly long range, east coast to west coast type stuff.
 
Been on 28420usb since 1600z...South Am and Central Am...worked ce3/lu1fam and ti5/w4dr and p49y all s9 or 20db...its still open,but cant wait till grayline,it was rocking last night...73s de JW em48sd:thumbup:
 
10 was hot this past weekend. I decided to participate in the ARRL Int DX Contest on sunday. I was on the air for 3 hours and worked 36 countries. 26 countries on 10 meters..the other 10 on 20m and all with 50 watts. 10 is amazing when its open!
 
We have a local gang here in Ottawa that monitors 28.420 all day and night. Most are mobile, some are based at home. The mobiles run anything and everything. I also monitor 29.000 - 29.050 AM too.
 
Last night I worked ZL1BYZ in New Zealand on 28.007, CW, 23:17z. He was working split with a nice pile up. He is a good operator.

Conditions tonight should be good. SFI at 155.


 
What happened? After a couple of good weeks 10m has crapped out. I was all set to play in the 10-10 Int. Mobile QSO Party last weekend and the band was D-E-A-D. Not even one contact for three hours of mobile ops.

I aam hearing the occasional South American or Caribbean station come and go, but that's about it.
 
10 meters was hopping a bit earlier today in the tech portion of band....fell out about 30 minutes ago...time is 5:30 centeral

17 meters has been running hard and heavy all day,Europe was booming in till about 1 PM,alot of state side working now
