2m home made beam

Most 2m FM is vertical (base & mobile) while 2m SSBers tend to use horizontal. I did both and found that a 5/8 wave 2m vertical and 2m horizontal beam for SSB was my best solution.
Put them both up crossed. Put the 2 element vertical for FM and the 3 element flat for SSB. Feed to a switch of some type and now you got the best of both worlds.

@ Geoexplorer69:Coax question. I just put up a new Sirio monsoon base antenna with 100’ of rg8u coax testing with myMFJ antenna analyzer shows 1.4 swr at 26.965mhz and a 1.1 at 27.405 mhz . When I checked the ohms it’s steady a 30 ohms across the entire bandwidth.
