I just turned on my rig (38 lsb) and b.w. and 5140 both going off together in two different qso's. Unbelievable. It's kinda amusing. Unfortunately the weather's great and I can only listen for another 20 minutes. It's like listening too a comedy/aventgarud performance.

that's definitely the case I don't condone it and I'm not saying if you can't beat them join them but there is nothing that can be done about it. I've been on ssb for 3 months now and have heard these individuals every time I've stopped by 38 lsb . I'm assuming these individuals have been acting a fool for way longer than 3 months. it's probably been going on for years. so what can one do?it's apparent to me no laws are being broken as the FCC let's this type of 11 meter foolishness to continue. From what I've learned while sandbagging these two operators are licensed ham operators. I'm sure if they acted this way on the ham bands it would have been stopped long ago. it's probably why people who hold licenses go to the 11 meter band. they know they can act the fool and get away with it. their actions definitely ruin it for the many operators who enjoy the hobby as I do. This is definitely the last time I will post anything about the crazies that operate on 38 LSB. when I hear that going on I make it a point never to key up and add my two cents as I feel that's exactly what fuels these types of cb radio fools.
..or a couple of arrogant a$$e$ ruining the airwaves.

No need to stop posting about them. It happens all the time. I was just adding my 2 cents (fill out the rebate form for immediate cash back).

Blue waffle comes in lower in my receive so I can usually make contacts over the top w/o a problem. 5140 on the other hand makes me just change channels (or poke the bear - he's got a few things that push his buttons and you can actually get him to shut up for a bit).

Just make your call and QSY. There are other stations all over. It 's no different than the guys that used to sit on 555. That's the best thing about it , there are plenty of other freqs. to use :)

you owe me a soda,....:p I have to clean my screen too:LOL::LOL:

I won't go into the gory details, but,................ there are certain Amateur freqs that even I won't transmit on.
