40 Meter MOON BOUNCE? I hardly doubt it.

He is an idiot looking for attention. The only reflectors left on the moon AFAIK are laser reflectors for measurement purposes. 40m will not make it to the moon and back due to absorbtion and reflection. It sounds more like a long delayed echo which happens fairly often somtime somewhere to someone.

The three S's. I like that Sometime, Somewhere, Someone.

QRZ had a discussion about this [slash]achievement[/slash] claim.

Now the dolt is saying that all signals were 59 on an EME on 40m.

I liked this post on QRZ about the issue.

"The High-frequency Active Auroral Research Project (HAARP) folks did an EME test in January 2008 on 6.792 MHz CW.

However, they were using 3.6 MEGAwatts and 180 turnstile antennas :-)"

And this guy claims EME with at most 1500 watts SSB and very modest low gain antennas.
