That 49.830 Mhz is also used by "baby monitors". There are some remarkably odd 'baby talk' on them at times. Babies really talk like that??
About all I have on 6 meters now is a home-brew dipole. Since it's reasonably resonant it does about as well as anything. Don't expect much from an 'A99' or such no matter how 'good' the SWR is.
