I have a theory why the images above are as they are, but I may offend a few people. Then again that has never stopped me before so here goes...........I think it is because of the new generation wanting to get maximum returns for minimal input. Why spend time and effort trying to contact a complete stranger when the computer can do it for them.There are a few exceptions of course. Combine that with the ever-changing band conditions on 6m, and you have a recipe for minimum effort with maximum returns. Not for me however but to each his own.
