Does KaLe make a 6' aluminum extension for the lower portion of the 10k?
or what would be even better is a 6' aluminum stick with 3/8 24thread at the bottom and on the top a hole 3/8 24thread for a 108" SS whip....
edit: this is for mobile use.

link is just to give you the idea, you can use other material types.

Are you planning a 6 foot mast and then 2.5 foot whip to equal a 102" to run on 11 meters???

nope. this should be moved to the HAM section. i posted it in the wrong area.
i made this thread here thinking kale or one of his prospects would reply... with there product as such....

since you already have a 10k ...... another option could be getting a $15 piece of 1 inch aluminum tube from lowes and cutting it to what ever length you want . take the bottom and stinger shaft from your 10k and use them on the bottom and top of your chosen length with hose clamps (or something stronger) . take the 3/8x24 off the bottom of the 102 and use the 102 as a stinger that you can continually adjust for your different bands needs .

Let me get this right, your saying to remove the lower and upper portion of the 10k " eliminate the coil". And take an 6 foot rod and hose clamp them together ?

Again thanks for the positive posts and ideas. :)

just a option to consider . it seem like you wont be driving with a 14 ft antenna . so its something you'll have to install when you're at your spots . of course spending $50+ for something prettier may be more along the line of what you may want . as long as you're happy with what you get or use is what matters in the long run .

So what your wanting is a 6' or taller lower shaft? Or just something 6' tall that you could screw your 10K into?

Either way, Kale could build it for you...All you would need to do is give him a call at the number on the shaft of your 10K....Have no idea what it would cost tho, but at least it would be well made.
