 I NEED TO GET MY DAMNED ANTENNAS UP!!!!!!!!! On a good note I just found my 6m yagi two days ago. It fell off the saw horses during the winter and was buried under the snow. No matter anyway as the entire saw horses were buried under all the snow too. I still have over a foot of snow on the lawn but it has finally gone in the driveway and along the shoulder of the roads here. Still about a foot and a half to two feet in the woods. Temps have been nice the last week and are expected to be nice this whole week too so it should be pretty much all gone by the weekend. THANK GOD!! This year has been very unusual in the amount of snow and how long it has stayed.

There's something I've never said before concerning...well...anything, lol :)

Well we got about six FEET of snow in less than six weeks here and all of it began on Feb. 15/16 with 22 inches in one shot. Ironically almost all the snow we got this year came AFTER we returned from our trip to Jamaica. we went there to get a break from all the snow and cold.

Warmer climate? Naaahh....that would mean the west coast and I am not a fan of rain, rain, rain followed by more rain and a chance of more rain. Other than that it means south of the border and that just is not happening. Life is just too good here in Nova Scotia......if you can get past all the taxes.

It's usually no where near like this past winter. We had virtually no snow at all until mid-February and then it started. Everything just kept coming one after the other sometimes only two days apart. We got three good dumpings one week. This year was just crazy. At least the last week has seen temps in the 50's and a couple in the low 60's. More of the same this week and a little rain today but it is colder. In any event it looks like I will have a place to park the trailer when I take it out of winter storage this Saturday. I took the blower out and cleared a spot just in case Mother Nature didn't. Its' all bare there now but there is still a foot on the level where I did not clear and over two feet where the drifts were.

When I get ready to move again I'm going to put a snow shovel on the front of my truck and when somebody ask me,"What is that thing?" That's where I'm going to live!
We don't get enough snow here to warrant the purchase of a snow blower and I have no desire to shovel snow. I only clean the steps to the house and a very small walk way.
