lmao... i got de extra ground right here...

Lol, Ya it is a funny Video.
It is fine to run a Half wave antenna, BUT you are not going to run it driving around on the mobile, just to damn long, and the asking price is off the hook when you look at what they are made out of.
The Antenna that Dave built back in the 90`s, ( and if I remember right, he was asking $500 for them) the most expensive item, was the Vacuum caps, the rest is tubing and time building and tuning it.
I am sure F/B and X Force are using fixed caps hidden inside that plastic sleeve.....but Still $1550 bucks??
Hey, some one is buying them, Ain`t me.
I bet HomerBB can build a 1/2 wave that will run with it and still have beer money left over <More audio>.
After all, it is a Half wave antenna, with a matching network.

You want to see something out of this world?
Go search for Sha Sha`s 1150 Horse power Van, and look at the antenna he is running in the AC Sky class......now there is something unique.

Mine will only handle 40kw for a very short period, but I will sell them for 1000 bucks.

I've seen pics and video of Sha's van... looked like some kind of stacked yagi. I think he's been out of the circuit for a while and I think pretty much everyone has settled in on the single array of vertical elements. There is some serious work going on with some of those antenna setups - they take it pretty serious.

Well, some idiot will buy one. I don't think I'll ever have the need for an antenna that can handle 40Kw, or 10Kw, so why should I worry about them?
I wonder if there's a written advertisement, and if there is, will waving it over barren ground would cause 50 pound tomatoes, or 500 pound watermelons? 75 pounds of okra from one plant per day? Geeze! You could regrow the rain forest faster than you could cut it! But for heaven sakes, don't wave that brochure near a spotted owl or snail darter!
