80m tonight

anyone up for a chat on 80 tonight? just put up a new antenna want to give a try.

Not sure if my lowly little dipole is up to the task of making it all way to C6. It seems more suited for working NVIS on 80m. Fire off a time and freq. and I will try and be there. What did you put up for an antenna?

Provide a time and frequency and I'll give it a try. I'm running 100 Watts and an OCF at 20 ft up. Like to see what can be done.

Ive never worked 80 in my life, i put up a dipole of sorts, it is between 3 towers, hard to explain, i didnt have the space for one long span, anyway it seems to work, i coudlnt tell you what freq is good, like i say im always 40 - 6, so you guys tell me, before 9 est would be great.

Thanks VA3VID, i heard there was another forum member in there, thanks alot guys, but conditions terrible tonight for me, but i would like for everyone to get together once a week, name the band and ill be there.

Im sure we could combine it with the site club call etc

Hey good talking to you. Mike, KC9Q from the forum was the other as well. He was banging in here in Ontario. I'm in depending on the evening of the week. I ski patrol 3 evenings a week until the 3rd week of March, then after that I'm better off.
20, 40 metres are options as well.
