Childhood ruined.

I watched parodies of this at “most offensive video” and pretty much now every time I see this, it’s all I think of. Warning - don’t go looking unless you want it ruined for you.

Then there’s the Rudolph that we all watched as kids. Read somewhere that it’s now offensive or promotes violence or some crap, so now we’re not suppose to watch it or something. Can’t remember exactly what I read or where, everything now offends somebody on some level, you can’t say or do anything anymore.

Sorry to be Debbie Downer so early in the morning.

Hmm. Sorry to see you're scarred from the experience that some thought was funny.

Yet, to me Linus and "Lights Please" parable on stage is was makes it resonate even after all that.

I too was insulted by it, and goes back to the issue "respect the classics" - which doesn't seem to affect the younger generation. To them - pretty much anything is game these days.

So we are going down a slippery slope and it not Atheism - its' more carnal than that - almost anti-humanistic/anti-intellectualism - much like how Issac Asimov did a story made into a Animated called Gandahar (Light Years)

The ex-XYL and I saw that movie - and only due to her Dad wanting us to be Knowledgeable about socialism and fair treatment for all.

The purpose of the post was to simply let others know that even the classics that used to be broadcast on a specific time of year - is also changing - due to pressure from the non-sequitur groups.

Yeah, remember as a kid it came on just a few days before Christmas and now stuff is played in November so it doesn’t interfere with the awesome programming we have now. TV used to be pretty good, at least compared to now.

Which is like music, we used to actually have it and now it’s nothing that even be compared to it.
