Albino Fawn in Whitesauce with Asparagus and Baby Snowpeas
Ingredients:
1 albino fawn, skinned, cleaned, and boned
1/2 cup of sweet cream butter
1/4 cup chopped garlic
1/4 pound of fresh asparagus tips
1/4 poun of fresh baby snow peas
1 qt of Italian whitesauce, home-made or store-bought
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tbs of Mrs Dash, your choice of flavor
Trim fat from fawn meat, and save for use as suet or pet food. Take trimmed fawn meat, and cut into bite-sized pieces. Place 1 lb of meat along with the butter and garlic in a large skillet or wok, and saute over high heat until browned. Remove meat from stove, cover tightly, and allow to sit. Prepare the remaining ingredients by combining the asparagus, snow peas, lemon juice, and Mrs. Dash in a large bowl, until lemon juice and Mrs. Dash is thoroughly coating the vegetables. Steam the veggies over high heat until they are just tender, and remove. In a large saucepan or pot, combine meat, veggies, and whitesauce. Simmer over low heat until meat is cooked through, and serve hot.
If desired, deer tongue, heart, kidneys, liver, and brains may be chopped and combined with salt, crushed red pepper, and garlic to make a tasty side dish.
