Always wanted a Moonraker 4? now's your chance!

I had a 4 element dual polarity beam. I can't remember what it was called, though. Shooting Star or something like that. It came with 70' of tower I bought from a dude. I just wanted the tower.

A local bought it. When I heard him and the contacts he made, I wished I'd had kept it. There were many Moonrakers in my area back then. I only know of two that are still in use locally.

A local put one up a few days ago. He's in his 70's. It was NIB and had it for years. He was initially trying to sell it locally, but of course, wanted eBay prices. No one bit.

It's working good for him.

Anyone have a boom kicking around for the shooting star...damm they are not cheap, looking at $200 Canadian shipped to Canada for the 3 sections from Maco, I found a 20' section of aluminum pipe I could cut down bit its 1 7/8" instead of 2" diameter.

Thanks for the info guys going to venture out the to local metal supermarket and see what they can do for me.
