way it sounds the plug is 2 horizontals and the rounded ground one for 200-250 volts. We're as the normal home receptical is 2 verticals and a rounded ground one. Question if taking the Ameritron AL-80B to 200-250 volts does this plug need to be changed or change the receptical to a 200-250 volt version of the 2 verticals and rounded ground type?

change the plug
not the receptacle

god amp i have one and works great 10 through 160, do not try push it to 1kw out, let it loaf at 500 to 700 and it will provide many years of good service for you

The plug is a molded solid type hate to cut it. Receptical is 110-120 volt and have to change it anyhow to go upto 220-250 and prob going to do 240-250 volt more to side of 250 volt use less amps.
