Amp recommendations/ box builders

Parts of his videos are informative if you filter out his bullshit but otherwise I find Luke to be a rude condescending double talking douchebag and a dick to try to do business with. And if you think hes a dick in his videos you should try talking to him on the phone.
There are other better choices as far as amp builders/repair techs go. I wouldn't send Luke a bunk set of meters to work on. I stay tight lipped when it comes to whos kind enough to work on my amps. The last I want to do is flood someone with bullshit and piss them off.
Pill amps are quickly becoming dinosaurs because of the lack of quality transistors and fet technology isnt quite there yet. Some amp builders will keep pushing the chinese junk to keep making money. The junk transistors just means more repair work.

I'm guessing that the people bashing Luke have never met the man. He is one the nicest most respectful people I've ever met. He is a master at what he does and isn't afraid to give credit to who taught him what he's learned over the years. I've never understood why some people have to hate on someone they've never met or have done business with. It could be jealously, envy, etc. I don't know. All I know is that BBI is top notch all the way and I am one of the most picky people out there.

Youre guessing wrong.
No offense but I've tried several times since 2012 to talk with him but he's impossible and he seems to be getting worse.
The attitude in his videos is the same attitude you get on the phone and in person. I tried to get him to look at a tube amp a couple years ago but his attitude was still such that I just hung up.
I've done business and continue to do business with many different techs and none of them have the attitude luke does. He's a dick on the phone, he's a dick in person and he's a dick in his videos.
Don't get me wrong, he knows some shit like how to push ghost watts thru a meter, take apart a few transistors for us to see and melt solder. His videos are best watched with the volume down imo.
