I'm happy to pay the extra cost for a excellent well designed amplifier. To get an amplifier to perform over such a wide range of frequencies you have to make some compromises and even with that still perform better than the cb style of amplifiers.
Okay so it is not "Optimized" for one frequency, but they deliver what is needed and cleanly too.
