Made my views known.

Too much info can be a bad thing I suppose,
....
Who in there right mind would send this idiot a amp or radio
Yep. A Dosy meter, pair of pliers, and a small screwdriver and you too can be a tech.
Seen it plenty myself during my travels! It's slowly diminishing as to the amount of good honest techs that aren't caught up in some other BS these days. Which is sad to say, but true as far as I have read and seen. With so much info and BS floating around the internet it makes some think it's so easy to do this kind of work. And man we know that is not so!! Or at least some of us do! Too much info can be a bad thing I suppose, just about like anything else. Just my 2 pennies worth. Have a great day to all!!
What made it worse for me, is that he put it on the scope and could not even recognize the square waves/pinching off/distortion.Sad to say but this is the majority of radio techs today. I hear on the air folks saying how good someone sounds, while I hear distorted pinched off audio. This video shows how uneducated some folks are.
With any luck, one day he will be able to recognize the square waves/pinching off/distortion, he is going to need a 'scope with more bandwidth (as Yetie pointed out) just for starters..What made it worse for me, is that he put it on the scope and could not even recognize the square waves/pinching off/distortion.
He has customers?!?
Brrr-rrrr-rrrr
Sad . . .
