Another Crazy Ebay Seller Dak X $1600 WOW

Wow even original condition or with a good amount of mods it is not even worth close to this

I'll admit these radios look impressive, but like the GE Superbase, they are real junk. Poor performance and constant failures stemming from poor engineering. Feel sorry for anyone that pays $1600 for it. Personally, I wouldn't give them a nickel for it.

Now, a Communications Power/CPI base are getting pricey; but they are worth it. That is one, fine radio in every respect.

Only way I'd ever buy anything from Superhawk is if I went to pick it up personally.

Dude's got a shady rep for sure and I've heard some nasty things about how he comes by all these pristine radios, not to mention his prices are beyond crazy.

Still, if it was something that I really wanted and it did everything he claimed it would AND I could personally inspect it I might make an above-par offer on some of his stuff- but no way would I ever pay his asking prices.
