Oh wow that's a little steep for me. I wonder if it's the dreaded rt1 mosfets under the hood.....I saw the price tag today at Walcott - $429.00. Yikes! https://www.walcottradio.com/ranger-rcix9-120w-10-meter-radio-am-usblsb-modes-p-3481.html
How is it going to compete with the Stryker 955? Wow, I would not have guessed it would be that high.I saw the price tag today at Walcott - $429.00. Yikes! https://www.walcottradio.com/ranger-rcix9-120w-10-meter-radio-am-usblsb-modes-p-3481.html

Now if it had 125 watts output, it would be totally worth it!

My guess is it would be like my old connex 4800 12 bander.. 24.265 - 29.655... way more channels than your average cb'r would ever need.6 Bands with H/L = 12 Bands. Wonder what the freq. range is? Doesn't say on Walcott's listing.
I can appreciate the simplicity of using it compared to menus and other functions a driver may never use in a truck. That's from a drivers perspective anyway. Just wish we could see what's inside.
Something else noticeable that could hurt (again drivers perspective) is the fans being on the bottom and how that could be hindered in the radio console in the newer trucks.
But that price.......
